Sex Therapy
Sex therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on helping individuals and couples navigate issues related to their sexual health.
From time to time, most of us experience difficulties in our sexual relationships. Sometimes things get better without professional help, but at other times they can go from bad to worse.
At Relationship Therapy North we understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality when discussing intimate matters so you can feel reassured that sex therapy sessions are conducted in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Our therapists’ training is of the very highest quality and our sex therapy programme has a proven track record of success
Sex therapy can help with common problems such as
-
Lack of desire and low libido
-
Painful sex
-
Erection difficulties or issues with premature ejaculation
-
Vaginismus
-
Problems with arousal or orgasm
-
Differences in sex drive
-
Lack of sexual confidence
-
Sexual addiction

During sessions, our therapist will help you to talk about your sexual difficulties, work with you to understand their origin, and then gradually guide you through a practical programme which will help you to both overcome your problems and reduce your anxiety about them.
Couples are encouraged to express their thoughts openly in order to build trust and
understanding between one another. The goal is to create a safe space for both individuals in which they can feel comfortable expressing themselves sexually without fear of judgement from outside sources or each other.
Rest assured, talking is all that takes place in the therapy room; but you will be asked to carry out certain simple, specific tasks in the privacy of your own home. The treatment programme will be designed specifically for you and typically consists of about 12 one-hour weekly sessions.

Relationship Therapy North has helped thousands of people re-discover a satisfying sex life so please get in touch if you need our help.
